Position Title 3D Digital Twin Engineer
Description We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented, and technically strong 3D Digital Twin Engineer to support GeoSoft Global’s Geospatial, Subsea, LiDAR & Digital Twin Solutions | Geosoft Global digital engineering, asset intelligence, and model integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing 3D digital twin models that combine survey data, point clouds, BIM data, and asset information into intelligent digital environments. This role requires strong 3D modelling capability, an understanding of engineering workflows, and the ability to transform real-world assets into accurate, data-rich digital representations for decision-making, operations, and lifecycle management.

Minimum Qualification Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Surveying, or equivalent from a recognised institution. Diploma candidates with strong 3D modelling and digital engineering experience may also be considered. Experience with BIM, point cloud processing, or digital twin platforms is highly desirable.
Professional Skills
    • Strong proficiency in 3D modelling and digital twin data structuring using tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Blender, or similar platforms.

    • Ability to work with point cloud data, survey data, laser scan outputs, and as-built information to develop accurate model geometry.

    • Solid understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination, and asset information integration.

    • Knowledge of digital twin concepts including asset lifecycle management, real-time data integration, and model validation.

    • Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and model naming/LOD standards.

    • Working knowledge of visualization, simulation, and reporting outputs for operations and client presentations.

    • Ability to collaborate with survey, BIM, GIS, and engineering teams to deliver integrated digital solutions.

Key Accountabilities
      • Develop and maintain 3D digital twin models for industrial, infrastructure, and built-environment assets.

      • Convert point cloud, laser scan, BIM, and survey data into accurate and structured digital twin models.

      • Support model validation, updates, and revision control throughout the project lifecycle.

      • Integrate asset metadata, engineering attributes, and spatial information into digital twin environments.

      • Assist in preparing model outputs for engineering review, operations, maintenance planning, and client handover.

      • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure model accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements.

      • Support the creation of dashboards, visualisations, and digital deliverables for internal and client use.

      • Maintain organised documentation, file structure, and revision history for all digital twin assets.
