| Professional Skills | -
Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools. -
Mandatory: Proficiency in containerisation and orchestration — Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and container registry management. -
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP — including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and managed services. -
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. -
Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or equivalent. -
Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. -
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and firewall configurations. -
Advantageous (preferred): Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), GitOps practices (ArgoCD/Flux), and security scanning tools (Trivy, SonarQube, Snyk). |
| Experience | -
8–12 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering roles. -
Minimum 3 years in a senior or lead capacity, managing cloud environments and guiding junior engineers. -
Proven experience in high-availability production deployments and disaster recovery planning. |
| Key Accountabilities | -
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable, and automated software delivery. -
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments. -
Implement and maintain IaC practices to ensure consistent, version-controlled infrastructure provisioning. -
Monitor system health, performance, and availability; respond to incidents and conduct thorough root cause analyses. -
Enforce DevOps practices — integrate security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance checks into pipelines. -
Collaborate with development teams to define deployment strategies, branching models, and release management processes. -
Manage container platforms and orchestration, ensuring high availability and resource optimization. |
